Finger Picker
Everyone puts a finger on the screen; hold still for two seconds and one is picked at random.
How to play
Put the phone flat on a table and have everyone place one finger on the box. When enough fingers are down and nobody moves for 2 seconds, the picked finger grows and the rest fade. Lift all fingers and it resets after a moment.
- One: picks one person once 2 or more fingers are down.
- Several: picks 2–5 people and numbers them. You need one more finger than the number to pick (3–6).
- Teams: splits the fingers into 2–5 even teams with numbers and colours.
Is it fair?
When the 2 seconds are up, the list of fingers on the screen is shuffled with cryptographic randomness and the first ones are picked. Who touched first or where doesn't matter. If a finger is added or lifted, the 2-second count starts over.
On a computer
A mouse can't hold several points at once, so each click drops a point that stays. Drop one per person, wait 2 seconds, and click a point again to remove it.
FAQ
Does touching first help?
No. The fingers on screen when the 2 seconds end are shuffled at random.
Can I use it on a computer?
Yes. Click once per person to drop a point, then wait two seconds.
How many fingers can it handle?
As many as your device detects at once; the number is shown under the box on touch devices.
